Do I need planning permission for a new fence?

Accepted Answer

For most Surrey gardens, standard fencing up to 2 metres high does not need permission. The rules change next to a highway, on listed buildings and within conservation areas, which is worth checking with Waverley Borough Council before work starts.

Yes. Taking away old panels, posts, concrete and offcuts can be included in your quote, so you are not left with a pile of broken timber in the garden.
