Fence installation

Fence Installation in Godalming

New fencing installed properly, from setting out and post holes through to gravel boards, gates and a straight, level finish across Godalming, GU7 and GU8.

Newly installed feather edge fence panels with concrete posts

A new fence, installed the right way

Fences almost always fail at the posts rather than the panels. Our installations start with accurate setting out and posts dug to a depth that suits the ground and the height of the fence, which is what keeps the line true once the wind gets up.

From there boards and panels are aligned, gravel boards fitted where they earn their keep, and gates hung square so they still shut cleanly in a year's time.

What we install

Closeboard and feather edge fencing, lap panels, tongue and groove panels, trellis-topped fencing, picket fencing, post and rail, and matching timber gates. Heights and finishes are set around the boundary rather than whatever comes flat-packed.

If you are weighing up options, our garden fencing page covers the panel types side by side, and closeboard fencing explains why a built-on-site boundary lasts longer.

What your quote covers

Every installation quote follows a free site visit, so it reflects your actual fence line instead of a guess over the phone. Materials, labour, removal of the old fence and any extras such as concrete posts or gravel board upgrades are all set out in writing.

Nothing appears halfway through the job. The price we agree is the price you pay.

Most garden fencing jobs are finished in one to three days. The length of the run, ground conditions, access and whether old fencing needs taking away all make a difference, so we give you an estimated timeframe before we start.
