We had a long run of old lap panels replaced with closeboard fencing along the back of our garden in Godalming. The team turned up when they said they would, worked around the bad weather without making a mess of the lawn, and finished ahead of the time they'd quoted. Posts are dead straight and the finish is spotless. Genuinely the tidiest builders we've had on the property.

After the storms took out three panels and a post, I phoned on the Monday and someone was out to quote by Tuesday. Honest advice on what could be repaired versus replaced, which saved me money, and the new section matches the existing fence perfectly. Polite, on time and reasonably priced. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

From the first call to the finished fence, communication was excellent. We wanted a trellis-topped panel fence for privacy without blocking the light, and they talked us through the options properly rather than just selling us the most expensive thing. The gate they made to match is a really nice touch. Lovely team and a brilliant job.

I'd been putting off sorting the garden fence for two years because I dreaded the hassle. Honestly it was the easiest job I've ever had done. Quote by email the same evening, a date within a fortnight, and the whole lot up in a day and a half. They even took the old panels away and swept the patio before they left. My neighbour has since booked them for her side.

We have a steep sloping garden and the previous fence had been put up badly with big gaps under the panels where the dog kept escaping. They stepped the fence properly with gravel boards so it follows the slope, and there isn't a gap anywhere. Dog is furious. We're delighted.

Had a full replacement of a very tired old fence between us and next door, done as a joint job with the neighbours. Managing that sort of thing can be awkward but they were great at keeping both households informed and split the invoice for us without any fuss. Quality of the timber is noticeably better than the panels that came off.

Asked for something that would give us privacy from the footpath without turning the garden into a box. They suggested closeboard with a trellis top and a slightly lower run nearest the house, which was exactly the right call. Really glad we took their advice rather than sticking with my original idea.
